Canoeing
Is this for me?
Little ones as young as 4 can jump on and ride along with adults
Canoes are best paddled in twos or threes
The boats are ‘Canadian’ style canoes, with plenty of space, and very stable to paddle
It’s unlikely you’ll fall in, so you can wear normal clothes, but a spare set is worth bringing just in case
You’ll be provided with a buoyancy aid, so don’t worry if you’re not a confident swimmer
Canoeing sessions are three hours, including some time to get kitted, and walk to and from the river, giving over 2 hours on the water
Canoeing on the River Dart
With over 5 kilometres of luscious river to explore, our canoes provide a totally new perspective on the natural beauty of this river. Glide silently downstream, spotting undisturbed wildlife as you go.
A lovely experience for couples and families, great fun for kids, and always a real adventure. All our instructors are British Canoeing qualified coaches, guides and instructors, so you can make the most out of their knowledge and experience to maximise your time out on the water.
