Expeditions

Dynamic Adventures are a DofE Approved Activity Provider (AAP) for all levels of the Expedition Section. Flexibility is at the core of our offering - we work with lots of different institutions, all of whom run their DofE program in a slightly different way, and require different things from us.

We provide:

• Route Planning sessions

• Expedition skills training - including tent pitching, stove/ Trangia cooking, meal planning, basic first aid, map reading

• Training Walks + Navigation training

• Qualifying Practice Expeditions

• Qualifying Assessed Expeditions

Whilst most groups we work with choose to do trekking expeditions, we love to mix things up here, and can provide all of the above for other modes of transport, including canoeing, kayaking, and cycling.

Whether you need us to take on your program from start to finish, or just need some qualified Expedition Assessors, we’ve got you covered. Whilst we’re based in South Devon, we provide expeditions across the UK, depending on the level of award. For Bronze and Silver, we use areas including South Devon coastline, Dartmoor, Exmoor, Mendips, New Forest, Wye Valley and Forest of Dean. For Gold, we use areas further afield, including Brecon Beacons, Snowdonia, Lake District and Scotland. We also run Gold expeditions abroad, see below for more details.

Residentials

We’re also a provider of DofE residentials - part of the Gold award. Students will be staying in our bunkhouse on the Dartington Estate, and taking part in a number of fantastic outdoor activities including Canoeing, Kayaking, Rock climbing and more.

Overseas Expeditions

Dynamic Adventures are proud to have been running Gold expeditions in countries around the world for many years. Whilst the mountainous regions of the UK can be wonderful, wild and challenging, nothing quite beats the adventure of exploring remote regions of the world. Some of the places we’ve taken groups to include:

• French/ Swiss/ Italian Alps

• Slovenia

• Canada

• Corsica

We’ll organise everything for you, including flights and travel, any accommodation and campsites, and our qualified staff will remotely supervise teams, with additional support vehicles where necessary.
